In phase 1 George Washington Highway must be modified to incorporate turn lanes for access in and out of the park. The utility work will be completed including extension of HRSD sewer and water services.

Ammenities for phase 1 will include:

1. Code required water retention ponds.
2. Vehicle lanes and parking. Paving as required by code at the intersection of G.W. Highway. Prepared gravel surface throughout the rest.
3. Landscaping & shrubbery.
4. The first section of nature trails.
5. Temporary Dog Park. The Dog Park will be relocated and significantly larger in latter stages of park construction.
6. Restrooms. There will be additional restroom facilities in latter stages.
7. Playground area.
8. Picnic area with shelters.
9. City Maintenance shed.
10. Maintenence shed for co-op athletic association.
11. 4 engineered baseball fields in a spoke design.
12. 3 multipurpose fields suitable for soccer, field hockey, football & others.
